I am replacing the front and back bumpers on my 1st gen Durango with some heavy duty aftermarket winch-bumpers. I have never removed bumpers off a vehicle like this and am looking for tips/tricks to getting them off in good condition (so I can re-sell them) Any advice is most appreciated! I looked for institutional videos on this and could not find any. I am sure it is somewhat "straight forward", but I am also sure there are some tricks to getting them off as well. Thank a bunch!

I haven't done any bumper work but I have the factory service manual online. Go down to "frame and bumpers" and it should help out... http://www.biodsl.com/durangofsm.htm

it's really easy.
it shouldn't take you no more than 10min. for the front.
from what i remember...there's about 8 3/4 size bolts for the front bumper.
if you know how to change a tire...it's that easy.

Fairly simple for front, the back may have a couple of the plastic rivits to remove and they'll come off. There are some bumper reinforing supports that do not need be unbolted, should be easy to see once under the D.
