I'm working on a 2001 dodge ram. The problem is that when I have the heat set to floor the drivers side floor vent blows cold. The pass floor vent blows hot at the same time.All other vents,defrost work fine. I've taken off the complete front of the dash,down to the steel. My question is how do I get the whole heater box out w/o cutting the steel brackets. I'm pretty sure I have to replace or repair the vent door.
I guess I should say that I run a rod/restoration shop and normally don't work on anything made after 1974. I'm just doing a favor. thanks for all your help. Ron
