Has anyone dyed the head liner and pillars black to match the seats?

I think adidas_kn was planing on it. I asked an upholstery shop for a quote on installing a suede headliner and paint the pillars, but he said he wouldn't do it cuz the paint would start peeling from the pillars with the handles. Then, later, I thought that covering the pillars with suede too might work. Maybe you should try that.
