I have a 2002 dodge Dakota that seems to have a mind of its own. While I am driving at night my low fuel indicator light and signal came on dinging continually. While this was going on the headlight would shutoff with the dings and come back on in sync with the dings. I filled up the gas tank and everything was normal. The next day I started the car early in the Am with the headlights on the seatbelt /ABS signal dings 2 or 3 times and the headlight shut off and on with those dings as well? Can anyone explain what is going on and a possible fix. This has been going on for a week now

Weird issues like this are often poor grounds in the body harness. When there's not a satisfactory ground in a circuit, it's going to find one somewhere else.

The other likely culprit is the body control module. They're problematic on Dodges, and handle most of the functions like this.
