There is a huge selection of headers out there. Any small block Chrysler has the same bolt pattern. It would just be a matter of which ones will fit the truck. SInce typically trucks have more room. You are open to a wide range.
Incorrectomundo my friend..........There were two makers of long tubes for the 2nd Gen Ram now there is only one, Pacesetter. The other one S & S Headers designed ones using the Dakota as a template and thought since the Ram was bigger they would automatically fit..........WRONG.............Find me another off the shelf, which will fit the 2nd Gen Ram 360 Mag. and I will proclaim you the Great Oz of all mopars!!! You didn't think I was going to send you money did you ???
Depends on what you mean by a little. If you can bend tube and weld maybe. Anyhow if you can, S & S Headers (www.ssheaders.com) part no. 5610; the right side will fit a 2000 Ram without a problem, the left side needs major work to get by the frame rails. I know, I have them on my truck.
Because they were never CARB or EPA certified. Don't worry, I have been running S&S longtubes for two years, along with a lot of other "off road" stuff and never thrown a code. Generally and mainly, the reason you throw a code is because your A/F mixture is out of wack. That is not only bad for the environment it is BAD for performance. If you tune it right, its amazing what you can get away with without throwing a code and being able to pass the EPA tests.....and you are not really cheating because you are efficiently burning the fuel; making HP and clean exhaust.
I just inherited my husband's 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 in excellent
condition. Runs so smooth you can't feel a thing. Very impressive.
Only had it a few months and driven it just to help with moving.
So not very often. Recently I've noticed the fuel gauge going from 1/2 tank to below empty...
Been a while since i've been on here, but recently decided to do a top end rebuild of my 408.
Here's what I went with:
F&B 2x52x55 throttle body
Hughes F1 AirGap
Ford Racing 24# Fuel injectors (HemiFever recommended, but seem small)
Hughes MAGNUM INDY "X" HEADS W/ 2.02" STAINLESS (HUG20300C)...
I have searched for this forever and know one will help me when ever I try to do a burnout I do I like everyone says brake to floor gas to floor and slowly let the brake out but it just stays at 1500 rpm and won’t get past that I’m not sure why I do have headers cherrybomb exhaust aftermarket...
