I've got a 2000 Dakota. I pulled my 4.7L about 2 months ago and had it rebuilt. Runs great, no problems with it. I also took the head lights, etc... off to have the truck repainted.
I finally got the truck back from paint yesterday and started putting the head lights, turn signals, etc... back onto the truck.

Now I have a problem with the windshield wipers turning on when i turn the head lights on or when I put the right turn signal on. The right turn signal also does that fast blinking thing that you get if the bulbs are out. I'm able to turn the wiper off if i turn the head lights off and then turn the wiper knob to the high position and then the off position.

So, any ideas?? I'm not great at diagnosing electrical problems.

I feel stupid!!

Just figured it out. I saw an unground ground wire hiding underneath the head light wiring. Everything works now that the ground wire is in its proper place.

I tried to delete this thread, but I guess that is not possible.
