I'm new to the forum so I am still figuring it out.I'm glad to meet you all.I have a 2002 QC SLT 4.7 4x4 1500 and I rather you take my wife than my truck.Here's my problem,if I go out in morn and start up to warm up for bout 20 minutes,then go out and go from park to drive I have a hard hit in tranny also if I take off slow and it shifts out in 3rd around 20mph,man you think the tranny fixn the fall out with the sudden hard hit and if you take off fast and come back down before the tranny shifts there will be a hard shift.I have read all through this forum and I hear alot of this in different ways.Also I have taken to dealership and even let them take it home to drive they say there's nothing wrong.I have a buddy at work say the tork converter could be the problem.

Do you have a pic of your wife?
Add the Transgo shift kit.
I'm not sure if it is the converter.

I've had that hard shift after getting off the throttle. I always just attributed it to the build up of line pressure right before I lifted my foot.
