was wondering if anybody here has tried the Track Bar retrofit kit by Solid Steel Industries, it has a bolt on mount that will accept a track bar from gen3 trucks to be installed on gen 2 trucks. I have a 96 Cummins powered 4x4 Dually with a severe incurable case of death wobble am wondering if this is the fix I am searching for. :help:

just get the Thuren trac bar. itll be the last trac bar you ever buy and the best mod you do to your truck.

I thought about it, before getting one from DT Pro Fab.

With the bracket from Solid Steel, you still have to buy a 3rd Gen track bar and you'll spend about the same amount (or more) than if you get a DT or Thuren bar.

Like Blue said - get a Thuren (or a DT), you won't be disappointed.

The Solid Steel track bar bracket is a good piece of gear. I have used them several of times.

The stock 3rd gen trackbar is a really tough piece. We race them in the stock full truck, and never have failures. I am sure the Thuren replacement is well thought out too.
