Has Anyone Ever Removed Their Cab

I know there are a few people on here that have done this a few times I've only done it once and it was on a very old dodge. I didn’t have any problems after it was gutted and the engine and tranny where out although when I lifted the cab off I had the help of a off road forklift and a big chain. :D As for painting the frame I would highly recommend you don’t use paint I would go with Rust bullet I've heard many good things about it. I know summit it has it if you can’t find it elsewhere.

I've heard good things about the rust converter as well so that should be good as for the enamel paint I was always told it dries to a hard usually glossy finish. As for the epoxy primer I don’t know if that will work never tried it and don’t know of anyone who has. I think if I remember right you can use the rust converter and a rubberized undercoating but I could be wrong.
