i went to get my d inspected it passed but they said i have to get a latch to open my hood in case of a fire cause the grille i use a screwdriver to open it does anyone know where i can get one?

make a relocator. Some people have drilled a small hole in the release handle and ran a coat hanger bent to come down to the bottom of the grill. I made one with a small cable type thing. I do beleive Street Scene has a kit as well for their grill inserts.

I just installed the remote hood release from Street Scenes two weeks ago. I was a bit dubious at first (it looks a bit hokey), but man, is it SLICK! If you install it just right, you reach under the grill with one hand, catch the t-bar with the back of two fingers, & pull the hood open in one easy motion.
