I have a 2016 grand caravan CVP that I bought brand new back in 2016. At the time, I didn't think I really needed rear AC, but I'm starting to realize that it's a necessity, especially with Canadian whether.
I tried calling different dealerships to ask if I can add that as an accessory. They all said no without even bothering to look into it. My second best option would be to buy another van with only rear AC installed as an extra option for the CVP trim level. To my surprise, almost ever dealership I called asked to pay 13k extra just to do swap! In all honesty, i'm not crazy enough to pay that much just to add rear AC. Especially since the new van has no extra feature over my van. Just rear AC.
If there are any Dodge techs in here, or if someone has tried to do this in the past, I'm wondering if it's at all possible to buy the rear AC parts separately and install them as an extra accessory on my current van. I'm guessing it's going to be cheaper than having to change the van entirely
