After reading the many posts here, doing some research and being totally fed up with the OEM Continentals on my RT I bought a set of 255/55R-18 Michelin Energy MXV4 Plus. I got them at my local Tucson Discount Tire. I little pricey, but WOW, what a difference in ride! Very smooth and ultra quiet. I haven't done any spirited cornering with them yet, but on the Interstate they are an amazing improvement over the Conti tires. My RT is the base RT, so I didn't have the self sealer Conti's but had all of the issues many of you described like feathering (with a good alignment, bumpy ride and rapid wear. I had 17,000 miles on the OEM and they were looking pretty worn at the tire shop.

So far, I can recommend this tire for those who do lots of highway driving and want a quiet, wider than OEM, high quality tire.

Blessings to all!

Glad to hear that you like the tire!!!

For those of you that do not have a Discount Tire in your area, we can also do mail order. I have them in stock and can ship for free no tax, unless you live in AZ NV TX or OH.
