Finally after getting it back from the dealer...it runs a lot better. The fan clutch was bad on it so they replaced it with a new on and it runs better now.

Temp: 73F
91 Tune on 91 Octane
1st run:
2.51 @ 29
6.55 @ 59
9.83 @ 76
12.71 @ 83
1/4: 15.29 @ 86

2nd run:
2.55 @ 28
6.71 @ 57
10.16 @ 71
13.17 @ 87
1/4: 15.74 @ 85

0-60: 7.21

Last night some how i pulled a 7.13 0-60 time but i havent been able to pull it off since. Also i did all my runs with my cutout closed.

What was the outside temp? Have you considered getting an electric fan to replace your clutch fan?

The outside temp was around 73F. Ive considered an e-fan and would like to eventually get one. Im not very good at electrical stuff....but from what i have read if you get the right controller its not that hard. Also they are pretty expensive from what i have seen. I would like to get in to the low 15's and high 14s but i know its going to take a lot more work than bolt ons...like cams and ect.

You made an error someplace.

You could not have had a 7.21 or a low 7 second 60 foot.

Or, I am totally f'd up and read it wrong.

Still, thats a good run.

How much does your truck weigh in track mode?

Yeah i think the first run is screwed up some how.....ill have to do some runs this weekend when im not so busy. I weigh what ever a stock Big Horn Edition weighs...heavy ass 20's. I did the 0-60 run after the 1st run....so the engine was a heated up a little more....i did the 0-60 run on a good flat concrete road next to the turnpike out by my house.

That was 0-60, not 60', right?

You won't need to get too drastic to get into the 14s. The electric fan will help, but you're right it's not very cheap. I'd suggest also looking at exhaust/headers. If your cutout is behind your cats, it's won't give you that much gain.

Yes it was 0 MPH to 60 MPH: 7.21 Not 60 FT. Hell if i ran a 60 FT time of 7.21...the truck would be going right back to the dealer.....that time would be more like my girlfriends car 0-60 in about 2 years....lol But im having a problem spinning off the line so i think im gonna have to get some traction bars or something.

Your first run was a 6.55 at 59mph in the 330'. How is it 7.21 to 60? It seems it should not take .66 seconds to get 1mph. Maybe you are faster than you think.

I know....like i said i think something is screwy with my first run. Hopefully i can take it out tomorrow night and run some more times. I hate working weekends....especally since college football has started.

Ok....i took it out last night it was 72F and I ran 15.7 on the 1/4 and 7.21 0-60mph times. So looks like im consistant with 15.7 once the engine heats up. I called Art and Henson Motors today....i ordered a 180 Tstat from him....so hopefully that will help my engine stay cooler.

15.7's is about where you would run on the strip with your mods. The 15.3 was probably because of the spinning off the line so you really didn't do a full 1/4 mile run. You were probably a couple of feet short due to the spinning and the SC thinking you went 1/4 mile when in all reality you were short of the distance.

What kind of 60' times are you cutting?

My 60' times are consistant 2.55 give or take a few if i spin off the line or not. My truck dosent spin as much if i hold the brake and get it up to around 1500 RPMs then launch.
