I am pretty sure this is the Alternator Light that has come on but it showed up as "GEN" on my dash today, and it hasen't come back on! I am gonna go get the alternator tested tomorrow!

It must be a light for the "GENerator" or alternator....it must be on your older truck? I've never heard of GEN lights... :huh:

My GEN light is on right now and I'm trying to figure out what's wrong. See "Alternator Wiring" if interested. I'm pretty sure (or hoping) I just need to replace the 120 AMP alternator fuse. Something had to have blown it, though. They don't just go bad from being old.
