anyone here know what cartridges i need for a mt2500 scanner to set fuel sync? i put together a 360 for my 1996 and i moved the distributor :( i got a mt2500 just need the cartridges.

You need the Chrysler cartridge that covers 1996. The primary one, I believe. I don't think the troubleshooter does it.

Under the heading of just in case...I couldn't get an o'l buddy to lend me his expensive scanner again to set my fuel sync after pulling the dist for repair awhile back. He did say however, "don worry bout it, just set it via the diagram (Moparite list) and the ECM will set the fuel sync from there. How true, dunno?!? Supposedly, they were never that precise anyhow. It works...starts, runs, etc; just fine, has for years since.

yah! they do run set off. but it compensates for a correct position. so why not give it the correct spot instead of letting the rudimentary obdII figure it out for itself. mines been ok set at -22* off. though ah I didn't let it set there for long.
