I have a 99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 Sport.
Still have the original front springs on it.
Want to upgrade to a slightly higher load rating spring.
What is the load rating on the original front springs?
Why is this difficult to find?
Why is it also not mentioned on many sites when looking up spring info?
I've been running the OEM originals since I bought the truck new in 1998. I did add a set of Rancho 5000 Shocks about 6 months of owning the truck.
It is now time to redo springs and shocks.
I am staying with stock height of truck.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Look at dodgeram.org. They have a specs section that should answer your questions. Dodge use a bunch of different springs on all of the trucks.

SCROLL all the way to the bottom!
I run an upgraded spring for a 2" lift (cc1708
cc1706 can also be used.
if you find your stock spring part number from moog, reference this chart and compare!
