Where ever I go over bumps or driving down the driveway hit all the little bumps and ruts that are in it. there is a knocking noise coming from the front. Could it be a shock?

I have a 2002 ram 1500 4x4 with 20'' stock rims and tires. Laramie edition

Thanks

If the hole is deep enough ,the front end will bounce to left or right like the famous rear end bounce..and I will get a knock under the driver floor board

Mechanic thinks it stabilizer arm links. Will have to put on hoist to check.Or like you said shocks..

You might want to check your hood ... I would bang on the top of the grill with the palm of my hand and the hood would make a lot of noise .
Mine was rattling .I adjusted the 2 front post and the linkage for the hood release was rattling . Put a plastic tie around it to stop it.. my front end noise was gone.
