Front Differential Oil Change???

I'm doing my 15,000 service and am stumped at changing the oil in the front differential. Are there any fill holes on the differential or do you have to fill it thru the breather tube? I've searched the forums and looked in the factory manual but couldn't find any information on how it's filled. Any help would be appriciated.

IFS or Solid?
It's IFS if that's is what they call it on the 1500

you have to pull the cover.
I know that I need to pull the cover, I just need to find out how to re-fill it after pulling the cover and putting it back on.

theres a fill plug on the cover.
Thanks dline,

Taking a second CLOSER look I saw the rubber fill plug on the passanger side. I now know that I should of looked closer after doing the rear, but am still stuck on old school of seeing an actual plug. Those rubber ones blend in all to well. Thanks for pointing out my stupidity, LOL.

yeah, sorry I couldn't be more help man, I have a 2500 and have no idea what the 1500 front differential looks like. Ours has a metal plug that a ratchet fits into, and I had about 2 quarts of royal purple on the ground by the time all was said and done.

Good luck
