quick question for anyone running an exhaust with out cat. converters. is it normal for it to appear to be running a little rich. as in a little white smoke and a mist ( of condensation id guess) spraying out the pipes. im guessin this is what the cat burns off, but if not i need to adress a rich engine. also getting cold here now that mights be part of the smoke issue, its about 40's or so now maybe low 50's. thanks in advance.

When my trucks HAD cats they'd shoot vapor trails. A gas engine will do it with cats or not when it's cold outside.

i don't run cat's and it does not smoke. it does smell pretty rich though...

Yah, it would smoke if you were up here when it's -40 outside. All the cars and trucks on the road do it regardless of how old they are, cats or no cats.

i have no cat and it will sometimes puff out a ball of smoke when i start it, and it always lets some out at WOT at high rpms and towing. it seems a lil sketchy but it is running rich.. its stinky
