I was trying to disconnect the negative terminal and I broke the end piece right off. It ripped the wire that goes to the tweeter and the one that looks like it is glued to the cone. I saldered the one back on for the tweeter but don't think there is a way to fix the connection to the cone. It almost looks like a string connected to it. There are two of them and i ripped one of them out :VHOT:

Please tell me I did not ruin these $80 speakers :mad:

if you just broke and did not tear, u may be able to solder the two ends back together, if not.....doubt you'll be able to get those warranted.

Alpine might fix it.........All they can say is no, so find out.
