has anyone installed a tachometer in the 4.7 v8's?
i know i have to splice it to the tachometer output lead behind the dash but which wire is it?
any tips or tricks?

Welcome to DT tajm!! I'm not sure if I understand your question. Are you wanting to install an aftermarket tach? Does you truck NOT have a tach in in already? I'm sure it does not matter what engine you have in it, it should be the same wiring.

its an aftermarket, on a 2004 1500 4.7 v8 but thanks for the welcome
