I am trying to wire something up and can't get a wire connector that will fit to a 70amp relay. Could I just take the plastic off the connector and soder the connector to the relay prong????

Any other ideas?

Go to Lowes and get a mechanical lug. The type with a set screw for the wire and a hole to bolt it to the relay. If you don't have a Lowes, or would prefer krimp on type, find an electrical wholesale distributer. They will have what you need, just don't buy very much becouse you will not pay wholesale if you do not have an account.

I thought about a lug, but the hole is about the size of a paperclip end. Already hit up a electric specialist store......nothing will fit secure.
