Earl Scheib is another Maaco. Big chain, garbage paint, poor quality, low prices.

It's not bad if all you are doing is covering up the rust and selling it! If you are thinking of using them for your personal ride...RUN LIKE HELL!!!

What's overboard in price? See, the $400 or so paint job that Macco or Earl's or whatever sounds nice but the end results are pretty much going to be you get what you pay for. Better to shop around, get a little higher budget and have the job done right.

its kinda hard getting a great paying job when your only 17

*sighs*

$6.50 at bj's wholesale club won't get me a great paint job :[

Find a guy that does it after hours in his garage. You will get a better job then you would get a discount place and still be cheaper than a regular body shop

just a quick reminder.............80% of the cost of a good paint job is in the prep work.
Hot Rod Mag. had a great series of "how to" most of last year. Do most of prep yourself............cleaning, sanding, trim (masking or removal)....etc and save a bundle!
