I just moved to Atlanta, and I have been seeing quiet a few duallys slammed or with mild drop kits. Has anyone seen a mild kit or have a photo of one?

As far as I have heard there are no bolt on kits to drop a 3rd Gen Ram dually, let alone a 4x4 dually. You will likely have to have something custom fabricated or go with a custom air bag set-up.

if your dually's a 4x4 don't get yourself worked up about lowering it

there's a straight axle under the front, and there's a motor in the front

there's only so far down you can go before said axle meets said motor, and that's a tad more than suspension travel

If that were a 4x4 the axle would be going through the center of the engine block.:D

I agree with Kenny and Adam, and I was actually asked a week ago my opinions on lowering a 3500 4x4..........IF you look under the truck there is a rather large oil pan that is only about an inch or two thick below the main engine mount surface (torwards front) and basically the front axles are real close to having clearance issues stock pan much less even dropped........some vehicles are just impractical to try and lower......NOT impossible just not practical.
You guys are rite! It sounds nice in theory, but not practicle. Thanks for chimeing in.
I like that white one better than the silver one that is plastered all over the internet

The white one belongs to mark fehrle, he built it while he was working at Ekstensive. He now owns slaughter house and was responsible for building the black dually on 24's with the matching golf cart.
