I have a 2001 dodge stratus with a 2.7 engine with a failing hydraulic chain
tensioner.

What would I have to do to change the 2.7 engine and install a 2.4 engine.

Are the transmissions the same? Need to change the exhaust, processor? Anything else.

My guess would be it would be much easier and cheaper to just fix the chain tensioner
