Is the dodge exhaust tip worth the $80? I know there are a ton of different tips out there but anything in stainless seems to be at least $30-40 and most of the cheaper ones have gotten lousy reviews in durability. I plan to leave the exhaust stock. $80 seems steep for an exhaust tip but with the rolled edge and all the Dodge tip does look pretty sharp.

Somewhere I read a poster saying that the chrome pitted very easily

Our 2002 has had a Gibson stainless on for 3 years and still looks great

Ran the Mopar tip from Jan 15/05 through winter to now and it looks like crap - ready for the slag heap.

I have it on my truck and I love it. I have had it about 10 months now and the only thing I do is remove any road tar with tar remover and follow it up with Meguire's chrome polish. It still looks like new.
