hey all,
I know CAI's have been beaten to death here, but my questions are for those of you who have made your own.
I already have the KN filter, some 4" PVC, cement, and black paint.
What did you use to hold in place? Zip ties? Brackets?
What did you do about the air temp sensor and crankcase tube?

I figured Id try a $30 DIY CAI and see how I like it before I go and spend $300 on a brand name one.

Any other tips are appreciated.

I had a custom one, then bought a Mopar one, then Customize that. now I have the stock filter box back on with half the Mopar tube. So far I like it the best.

Drill a hole for the AIT sensor and put a grommet in it. Id just put a smaller filter on the PCV tube and let it work its own. As far as brackets. use some zip ties or metal band clamps and some pieces of flat metal and make your own bracket to mount on the side where the OE filter box went.
