I was just wondering if anybody knows if the distributor position can be changed slightly? I am at TDC on compression stroke and rotor is pointing to cylinder #one, but the distributor position is a little counter clockwise from when I removed it. I think the gear that the distributor shaft drops into was installed a tooth off. Big deal or not?

As long as the injectors are synched correctly and #1 plug is in the #1 position on the cap, no problem.

B-300, thanks for the response. As far as the injectors, I am replacing the stock injectors with some Accels. How would I know if the injectors are synchronized? And/or how do I do that? I am going out to put everything together right now.

usually you can get it running just to rough it in, but the sync is never right after the install. a computer needs to moniter the setting. sync for a camed engined should be +2 +4
