Its done this twice now, almost acts like its getting flooded idk, happens when I come to a slow stop such as comming to a stop sign or turning in to a parking stall. you think maybe its the injectors? I've been shifting it in to neutral when i come to a stop so I can keep the RPM's up around 1k

Any ideas?? I would appreciate it

well again thanks for all the help, I'll take another look at the truck in a couple days, since I've had my dads I havent really been driving mine, but i did fine the time to remove and throughly clean both my throttle body, IAC, and K&N so Im hoppin that helps, also when i was removing my TB I noticed that the vac line connected to the sensor on the front side of the throttle body was off, so maybe thats all the problem was well see in a couple days....

well after driving the truck the past two days i have discovered that it in fact is not the map sensor vac line, and that my cleaning the k&N and throttle body did practicly nothing to help the current problem, looks like this weekend i can get in to a heated garage to work on my baby, so anything you guys can tell me about where the speed sensor, or crank (cps) are located and how to test them as well as what it would cost to replace them would be a great help thanks

damn guys idk, i think im gonna have to bite the bullet and give her to a shop, died again today after filling her up with premium and an injector cleaner. when it died as usual it wont restart unless it sits or i hold the throttle wide open while cranking, at which point it idles really rough and needs to be held at 3k rpm to idle smooth while i was doing that it blew black smoke out the exhaust, what the hell?? im lost any other ideas?

hey thanks for your input specialv42, i do appreciate it really, and i can see very clearly where dirt_devil is coming from i thought the same thing, wouldnt you have to be moving? but I am trying to get my truck in to my college to have the CAP program look at it (chrysler auto program) that way its free labor and just very conveniant.
but from what you guys have told me it is probably the speed sensor or iac sensor
ALSO i dont think i mentioned this but the truck will run fine and normal if i let it warm up to the point that the thermostate opens up, once it opens there is no problem

well i took my truck in to my college to have the auto guys look at it and all they really did was run it for codes and found 4, one for the alt. one for the IAC, one he couldn't remember and now one that i cant remember, anyway it hasnt died since.
there are a few other problems all ask you about though since this is going.
my oil pressure is funky, sometimes it drops to zero at start up, i hit the gas immediately and it jumps back up. ideas?
by the way heres the prices i picked up on the sensors from napa, just pricing them out
MAP $98.99
Speed Sensor $121.39
IAC $56.69
Coolant temp (pcm,not gauge) $13.29
