I am looking to get the 6in. Dick Cepek Lift with the long arms. I have heard that you have to cut holes in the body mounts in order for the long arms not to hit. Is this true or not? Would like to know what others had to do to install the Dick Cepek Long arms and if it was hard to do.
Thanks

Yes, you have to cut out large holes in the frame body mounts to clear the long arms. Most people I know used a large hole saw.

It must be done, the arms clearly go through the cut outs.

The Cepek kit comes with reinforcement plates that bolt into the body mount, or you can have them welded in.

Never done the install, so I don't know how hard it is.
