you could check your transducer on the passenger side of the transmission. The ends pop off and then you get crappy shifts because of low line pressure.

Also check the condition of the A/T fluid; if it's anything other than red (black, dark brown) drain it, clean out the pan, change the filter, and refill. It kind of sounds like it could be a motor mount to me too; do the RPMs seem to jump when it shifts, and does the amount of acceleration make a difference in the smoothness? As mentioned above, also look under and make sure no sensors have popped off (fairly new to these trucks so I don't know what to look for, sorry)

BTW u can just look under the truck you have to physically pull the sensor out and look at the end to see if its damaged.
