Everyday for 9 years now. Very dependable and very thirsty. Plenty strong and carried a lot more than it was ever designed for.
Daily driver?
As mentioned in a previous post, looking at a higher mileage 1500 slt 4x4 5.9, will be used as a daily driver. Buddies think I'm nuts because of the fuel, but my current 98 Jeep GC gets about 16-17mpg, so not a lot worse. My commute goes from one city to another, so mainly highway. Parking in the city might be tight, but a shortbox is only 12 inches longer than a Crown Vic cop car 
Also plan to go offroad (logging roads, etc) on weekends.
So who uses a 5.9 as a daily driver?
