My truck was in D1 status as of 4-26-05.
I have read on here that it only takes about 2 days to go down the production line.
Called today, still at D1 status, no change.

So, does it take a while to get "on" the line if all the parts are available?
Basically I'm paraniod because of seeing all the delays on 2500's w/manual tranny.
Now, my order is a 1500 w/manual tranny, but the word now is that ALL models with manuals are having delays.

So, is this truck order just gonna sit there cause maybe they ran out of trannies?

On a positive note........The Rebates went up by another $500!!!!! WoooHooo!

BTW- I tried to edit my last post instead of making a new one, it wouldn't let me.

The reason that is takes so long is that each plant is pumping out about 700-800 trucks per day. There are a lot of trucks in the system.

D1 means it is scheduled to build. Your dealer should be able to tell you the estimated build date.

Give me your VIN and I'll have my wife check your estimated ship date.
