Got the alternator problem fixed but then I ran into a new dilema, the crankshaft pulley is only a 2 groove, and it appears that I need a 3 or 4 groove, I tried using the one out of my 383 (actually 3 different ones) but only 5 of the holes would align, I tried turning the 361 pulley all the way around, still only 5 of the bolts would match. I figure I would just drill out the 6th hole but, then I saw that the depth on the 361, 383 is different, the grooves won't align with either the alternator, water pump or power stering pump. so now I know I cant use the 361 or the 383 pulleys, I looked on e-bay and the have a few on sale but they are 7 3/8 pulleys and what I need is a 7 in. or I might be able to use the 7 3/8 but then I have to find a smaller diameter water pump pulley but the same depth. If anyone has one that might work or have any ideas, please let me know. thanx again. Dart.
