Hey guys and gals,

What is the correct tire pressure for 35/12.5/20 tires. I'm feeling every pebble or bump I need the road and the ride is rough as heck. I just checked the pressures and all four were at 42psi.

You're probably pretty close there. I run between 40-50 on my 33s and they run pretty soft.

But it depends on the tire brand! Some brands are just stiff no matter what pressure (Nitto) and others are nice and soft (BFG).

Old school method is to chalk the tread and drive to see how it wears off. Should be nice and even all across. If too much pressure, it will still be white on the edges. But beware, the larger tires are E rated and much stiffer for off-road use so they are all going to ride much stiffer than stock tires ever would.

Best thing I ever did for soft ride? Changed shocks from hydros to gassers. Wow!
