Hello all, I am new to this forum and was wondering of anybody knew how difficult it is to add power windows and locks to my 2001 ram 1500. Can I just get the motors and regulators out of another truck and bolt in? Is the truck prewired or do I need to get the harness also? Thanks.

I'm not sure about the wiring, but you'll need the door panels also if you want the factory switches. If you're doing U-pull it you might as well get the harness just in case.

I'm gonna be hitting the autowreckers up here for the '96 in the spring just for that reason.
