I have been driving BMW M3s for the last 10 years so I am used to something reasonably quick with great handling. I need more room now & have been looking at wagons.

1. 2007 Subaru Outback Wagon XT
( Like it but I just dont know )

2. 2007 VW Passat 3.6 4Motion
( Like it but my mechanic says Ill spend more to maintain it than I have any of my M3's

3. Mercedes E55 Wagon
( Impossible to find & expensive when they are found )

4. 2007 Dodge Magnum SRT-8
( Just really threw this one into the mix after riding in a friends fathers RT the other weekend )

Im considering at 2 of them right now

2007, 43,526 Miles, Silver / Black, No GPS, no sunroof
2007, 37000 Miles, Torred Red / Black, LOADED

My questions are
Is there any standard problem I should be looking for?
Anything people love about the car or hate about the car?

Anything that can easily be done for substantial performance or handling improvements

Any advice is appreciated. I think the Magnum is going to be thwe way to go if I can stomach the MPG. ( same as my M3 )

THANKS!!!

I avg about 17.2 mpg mixed city highway but mostly city and some "spirited" driving. My only complaints is blind spots and stiff steering. The SRT is a whole different animal than the RT. I suggest test driving one. I only paid 20,000 for my 06 with 15,900 miles. The aftermarket is really big as well.

Yeah I knew about the blind spots. Pretty bad but Ill just deal with them.
As far as test driving one there arent any for sale near me. I have driven a Charger SRT8 though. Not too bad.

The ones that Im considering are
2007, 43,526 Miles, Silver / Black, No GPS, no sunroof asking $17,700
2007, 37000 Miles, Torred Red / Black, LOADED $20,500

Im going to look a little while longer but I might jump on the silver one.
