A co-worker of mine is getting rid of his 99 Ram 1500 quad cam with a 5.2 liter and 4 speed auto with 117K. Its in great shape, the guy really takes care of his vehicles so I was definately interested when he said he was thinking about letting it go. It is rust free which is a rare around these parts. Similar year rams for sale around here have the cancer all over them. Just would like anyones thoughts on if 6500 would be a fair price for a well maintained, extremelly clean truck.

paid 3800 for mine with 133k but it did have a small rust hole.

I would try for 5,500 but would take it for 6,000 and depending how well it was maintained and how the paint is 6,500 but check out the tranny and the plenum.

i paid 1200 hehe, PO thought the tranny was toasted cus it threw a crank sensor code

Seems like a good deal to me. I never see quad cabs around here under $8000. It seems like having the rear doors vs. the regular club cab with no rear doors adds to the price here.
