The idiot that owned this truck before must have gone to fricken Stevie Wonder to have it waxed because he got more wax on the trim then he did the body panels! Anybody have any good ideas on cleaning or restoring the black trim {door handles, tailights, tailgate trim etc.}

OK, peanut butter. Put it on and let it set for 1-3 hrs depending on how old or how long the wax /polish has been on. Try it for one hour and if it is not all gone then re-apply. In case you don't know there is something in the oil that kicks butt. Other recommendations, Mothers "Back to Black" Autoglym "Bumper Care" or Guard (not sure), Mr Clean "Majic Eraser", WD40

I'm not sure about the peanut butter, but the others sound like a great ideas... thanks for the info.....

Peanut butter works, if you don't believe then don't do it.
