I dont think much of it. I think Crebrus/Chrysler is going to make money but as with all 'American' car companies, they will have to become very specialised, they lost the passenger car segment to the Asian companies, they should concentrate on performance and ultra Heavy Duty 1/2 ton to 2 ton pick em up trucks! There will always be buyers for this segment regardless of economic situation and or fuel prices.

They need a small car.Something that gets extremely high fuel mileage but with a very nice interier and sound deading structure with ride quality.Need to beat the Corolla and Honda models as superior.

True, but they also need to get rid of Nardelli. Unfortunately, US companies are in a terrible cycle of picking up high level executives from other companies just because of their previous job title! Then, when the board figures out they are terrible leaders, they give them a huge package to leave (e.g., GE, Home Depot, and soon Chrysler/Cerberus).

There are lots of problems as to why,i shouldnt just single one item but the one item i do single out was know for years.Didnt learn anything from 75 and got fat making high profit margin trucks with cheap gas.

Sales banks of cars previous,i will never get over 45 thousand units of Dakota sitting in mud fields...poor design Sebring and Avenger...now trying to fix that problem,09 Ram late to the plate,loss of some good designers to other companies ie Brian Nesbith,Freeman Thomas...poor supplier choices that make inferier product and balljoints,wheel bearings,wind noise,poor ride,c clip breakage,leaky rack and pinions,condenser motors...list is long.

Then their is management that blames the union and the union that blames management.

Ford and Chrysler have the buisness model problems..GM also but not as much.

There is the key word..."buy"...whatever you want to call it and how it functions,Chrysler needs that same hype and crap....the same when you look at the pump and it says 3.50 a gallon,you say self..lol..i need one of those fuel efficent Chryslers that doesnt eat me out of house and home just to go to work and gives me some kind of interier,so i dont feel like iam sitting in a rubbermaid garbadge pail.
