this 91 w250 i just purchased has the 9.25 axle and one axle seal is leaking as well as the pinion seal. i've read that this axle is notorious for these issues and is responsible for the driveline clunking as well. my questions are
1)when i replace pinion seal should i also replace bearings
2)when i reinstall yoke nut, do i need to be concerned about crushing sleeve more
3)is a kit like one from Ratech that sells a Deluxe Kit for $140 a good way to go
4)has anyone installed a Lock-Right Non-Slip locker, any good?
I appreciate all the responses and advice you guys have given so far, it's a big help. My truck is on the road now and i have some new leaf springs on the way. BC
