Like I said before: the Charger is better than most think.

I had a chance to see one, and it looks better in person than in pictures.

you mean this thing gets better then it already is!
I'm saying it LOOKS better in person than it actually is presented in digital photographs.

I heard the Hemi start up...the salesman was trying to get an old couple to buy it and all: and it sure does have that "Hemi rumble".

I looked in the passenger compartment: and there is enough space in there to be a Crown Vic or even a Caprice. :gr_patrio

Had to go to my dealer today to sign some more paper work and look at the progess on my truck (gets exhaust put on tommorrow) and they said that they got a charger in and it was going through final detal. I asked them if I could see it or test drive it and they said it was off the lot getting the work done. So I talked to my salesman and he set up an appointment for a test drive on Saturday when I pick up my truck to test drive the 1st '06 Charger in California to be delivered to the dealer :rck: :rck: :rck: . He said that there are 15 in the state waiting to be shipped out to other dealers.

I also saw one in person, it looks better in person by far. I think if it had some nicer rims it would look way better, atleast that is the vibe I got when I saw it.

Amazing how the perceptions and opinions of the car change completely once people see it..... just like mine did back in January when I first saw it. :)

me too...

I think they should give out free RT Chargers with whatever we want on them to any DT member who wants one.

ahh sweet dreams...

They would never do that.. but I'll swap 'em even up, my 5.9 R/T Dakota for their 5.7 Hemi R/T Charger!!

:D

I finally got to see one in person this weekend. Stew Hansen,s Dodge City in DesMoines got in 5 last thursday and had three left on saturday. They had one R/T and two SXT,s. The R/T was pearl red, Very sharp car. Compared to the Intrepid it replaces I think it looks great and will do very well. I personally like the original much better, but that said, I will still have one when my truck is paid off. Now I just need to stop in and drive one. That could be dangerous though, because I'm sure it only gets better behind the wheel.

The Charger is a fun car to drive even though it weighs almost two tons. There isn't much on the road that can compete with it at the moment besides high end cars and specialty vehicles. Pull up next to a BMW 740, Lexus anything, and almost everything with a smile because the Charger will blow them away. And yet it has all the comfort, conveniece, and utility needed in a family vehicle. When driving around, people stop, look, and stare at the car. Same at the gas station or when parked in the lot at work. IMO, its a great car all around, including the price, compared to a similarly spec'd vehicles.
