I know it'll make the speedometer read off a little but will it actually hurt anything until the PCM is calibrated for the new size? I was thinking about getting a little smaller tires, going from 33" to 31.6". I'm debating whether or not I should have the dealer calibrate my speedo for the new tires or just wait until Superchips releases their tuner for 04 hemi Rams, then I can do it myself. Will it hurt anything to drive with the speedo off for a while? It'll be off 3.2 mph at 75 on the speedo, actual speed will be 71.8 mph according to a tire/gear website I used.

if you're going smaller, definitely recalibrate the speedo asap, because then you'll be putting less miles than your truck is recording, and biting yourself in the ass when it comes to warranty running out

You're right, I didn't think of that. I guess I'll have the dealer do it then.
