HEHE yeah almost twins. Thats some serious muddin going on their

And yes it would be very nice if the hood was fully functional. I have a 14x3 K&N open element filter so i figure with all the air rushing in through the opening it has to be helping a little more than if it was closed off.

Sucks it is your daily driver, I hate driving a 7 mpg hog every single day. That is a sweet mud picture! When I talk off-road, I mean trails that no car could ever pass on, and a truck stock height would have a hell of a lot of trouble.

We went up Carmichael Hill on saturday, we had to winch my truck up one of the slopes because I didn't have the power (hehe soon to change) or the best of clearance to make it up safely. I spend 90% of the time in my truck on a mud trail, mud hole, or driving to get off the road. That to me is what it is meant for, like I said at the beginning, to each his own. Also you have to stay within what you can afford, and at this point in my life I can beat her crapless and be able to get her back out the following weekend.

Now to join your side, when my truck was the only vehicle I owned last summer, she went in the mud maybe twice if that. Now that I purchased a car last September (best thing I ever did), she can be used for what she is meant for.

And if you saw the pictures I posted, the body has been beaten pretty good, but that is soon to change with the Shaker Hood, Custom Black Grille from Summit, OEM Black Sport Front Bumper, SS Side Mirrors, Custom Painted Tailgate, and new OEM Fenders. They just gotta get painted, but I figure I will mud her the way she is now cause once they are painted I am gonna wanna baby it...

Oh and if you hate cleaning the mud, get a full detail job done in your area with an undercarriage wash, I got a company that does mine and never asks questions even when there is an inch of mud on the entire truck (inside and out). Usually costs me 80 - 95 bucks for a full job.
