so recently i bought this dodge all tits for sure. i am wanting to make it up to date just still original. my question is my carb is backfiring when i first start up unless i let it warm up then after ten min i can take off driving fine no back fire to basically engine dies unless i do feather it or just let it warm up in the morning or night for at least ten min. any diagrams or help to fix myself if not where i can get replacement for the single carb i have on the truck. I am also looking to possibly upgrade the carb any suggestions since i have a three speed no overdrive and i take the highway just 65 all the way so with that in mind again any ideas>

It might help if you gave us the year and what engine you have.
