I am just about out of ideas. I have a 93 dodge le d250 with the 318 5.2 liter manual. This truck had sat for nearly 3 years but before that it worked just fine. I siphoned out the old gas, replaced the fuel filter, checked the fuel pump and put in about 10 gallons of gas. On the engine i replaced the ignition coil, spark plugs, distributor cap and rotor as well as the wireset, and checked the starter. When i go to start it crank and will pop a bit on the air filter but no combustion. Taking a plug out and holding it on the chasis i was getting a good spark and fuel was spraying from the cylinder. However, when i put it back together no combustion. I have an old Duralast battery in it. Its a size 34 with 660 cca and 800 peak. Also im pretty sure the alternator is shot. Is there anything im missing?

Have you tried starting fluid, to verify it will actually start?
If so, is the 93 still TBI?
On my 88, the two shower injectors were stuck after sitting for 5 years.
I popped them out and with compressed air blower (with a rubber tip) and blew them out backwards. They made a pop and I put them back in and they have run perfect ever since.
