Today I just got done painting my hood on my 96 Dakota. I painted from the body lines on the hood to the center black. Before I started painting I used automotive frisket to come the areas I did not want painted. Today I went out and the adhesive melted and stuck to the hood and some of the front fenders. I need to get this off somehow. Do any of you know what I should use to get it off the hood? Thanks

You could try the stuff that auto supply stores sell to remove decals. If I still have some I will post the name from the bottle.

i know wd40 works really well on duct tape and bumper stickers.... don't think it will hurt the paint, but don't hold me to it.
