Hello all, I have a 97 dodge grand caravan 3.8l and recently its been giving me an issue. Its tumbling but wont start. I pulled the code p0340 camshaft position sensor circuit bank 1 sensor 1. I found this weird because about 6 months ago or so i changed the cam sensor. I also recently changed the computer and battery. Im a little stuck on what other possible causes it can be. Any ideas on what i should check? Thank you.

Many times the OBD system will flag a camshaft sensor code when the real culprit is the crankshaft sensor and vice versa because of how they are wired in the system. Might try that. Course your cam sensor may have died or there could be a wiring problem. Might try verifying wire continuity and verifying each sensor has power and ground. Want a wire diagram? Send me a private message and include an email address to send it to. How? Click Ratchet75 at left.
