2 months ago all instrument lights and heater and radio lights went out. thought it was a bad dimmer switch, changed that out and no help. Then thought about the BCM but thought I should be getting a few more "symptoms" of a bad BCM. Odometer and shifter lights are fine, mirrors are fine, all interior lights are fine. Soooo. thought about bypassing the BCM altogether and wiring directly to the dimmer switch. having trouble making sense of the wiring diagram for the BCM. is this even possible? 1999 Dodge grand caravan 3.3 thanks

Thanks, that's helpful. yes park lights work...everything else works except the lights in the front cluster and heater and radio controls...has me questioning the BCM....possibly that i had a defective dimmer switch? (I mean the replacement one?) Would love to know how to check the BCM before dropping $$$ to replace it to find out that's not the problem.... thanks

My wife claims that the parking lights WERE making a cracking noise and flickering for a few weeks. She said it sounded like a short under the drivers side panel where the fuse box is....???? Now the noise is gone, lights seem to work...I'm baffled
