I am hoping some of you guys with brush guards or bull bars could send me some photos of how they are mounted to the frame.

I am going to fabricate my own guard from some tube steel, plate and flat stock. Sure I could just weld a bracket down there, but if there is a way to skip that step and just bolt it, I would like that better.

the safari bar mounts with a plate that is sandwiched between the frame and bumper mounts.

I have a westin push bar and it mounts like Kevin said, along with a bracket in between the steel bumper and grill. I'll go snap some pics for you later today.

Snapped some pics........First pic shows the brackets. Ones on the left are the lower ones that bolt where the bumper brackets are bolted to the frame....don't mind the rust on them.....lol. Ones on the right are the ones that bolt just inside the top bumper. Second pic gives and idea where they go. All this are for my westin push bar. Good luck..........hope this helps.
